100% Merino Wool or 100% Peruvian Wool
These pieces are a little pricier, but they’re made from some of the finest yarns sourced from around the world.
Why 100% wool, you ask?
For starters, wool helps regulate your body temperature. When it’s cold, the natural fibers trap air to insulate and keep you warm. When it’s warmer, wool allows moisture to move away from your skin, helping you stay cool and dry.
Winner winner, chicken dinner.
While some 100% wools can be itchy, I carefully choose yarns based on softness above all else. 100% Merino wool doesn’t itch at all — it honestly feels like butter against your skin.
Another reason I love Merino wool? It still insulates when wet (wild, right?). That means you stay warm even in damp or unpredictable weather — unless we’re talking a full-on torrential downpour… but you get it 🤷🏼♀️
This makes it an amazing choice for anyone with a sweaty noggin (or hands and feet), like me.
Soft, breathable, moisture-wicking, and warm — wool really does it all.
